City Prepares More Burial Plots for COVID-19 Cemetery in Rorotan

Jakarta Government prepares 1,500 burial plots for COVID-19 cemetery at Rorotan Public Cemetery (TPU), on Jalan Rorotan IX, RT 03/09, Rorotan, Cilincing, North Jakarta.

Rorotan Urban Village Head, Idham Mugabe conveyed, plan to add more burial plots in TPU has been socialized to local residents in all RWs in the region since October 2020.

Actually, Rorotan TPU area is located relatively far from residential areas. Currently, Rorotan TPU area is still being matured. From total 25 hectares of Rorotan TPU land, 2 hectares will be used for COVID-19 cemetery.

"The first phase of COVID-19 cemetery covers an area of 8,000 square meters with total 1,500 graves. It is targeted to start operating in this January," he said.
